Summary
Prinova Animal Nutrition, a business unit of Prinova Group, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for the Crest Flavor product line dedicated to animal and companion animal industry. Since 1978, Prinova has been a leader in providing high-quality ingredients, flavors and value-added solutions to global food and feed markets. The Crest Flavor product line is specific to commercial animal production and companion animals. The products are sold to feed industry customers and other manufacturers of animal feed products. The product line is fully supported with production, development and application technical support. Other non-flavor Prinova products and ingredients for use in animal feed may be available for selling.
 
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing a territory of customer accounts which includes such activities as orders, quotes, contract management, and value-added services.  The Inside Sales Rep will also be required to qualify the existing customer opportunities and look for new ways to grow the business, either through product line expansion or additional services.   Leads will be sourced through multiple usual Prinova marketing communication channels. This position would be eligible for bonuses and incentives based on meeting specific growth goals.
 
Duties would include, but not be limited to the following:
  • Research current list of accounts to identify line of business, products, and any other pertinent information helpful to grow the business or further relationship with account
  • Place outbound telephone calls to current accounts to identify opportunities, grow the business, and relay new product information and/or promotions
  • Field inbound calls from prospective customers Respond to sales e-mail requests in designated territory
  • Qualify new business opportunities
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Liaisons/Customer Service

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years Inside Sales experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas in a telephone based business environment.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Ag industry experience especially with commercial animal production is beneficial!
 
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Agriculture and 1-3 years inside sales or equivalent work experience.
 
Computer Skills
Data entry proficient - familiarity with CRM software tools a plus.
